Girl Has Style...

Sometimes it comes to pass in these times that a family member, in this case a young adult daughter, comes back to the family abode to live for a period of time in order to save money. It's the way that it is and I don't mind and we do have the room...and her attitude has made lemonade with lemons. She's surely decorated her space in own distinctive taste.
You won't find anything white in the room and our tastes are definitely not the same, but the girl's got style and I wanted to share some quick shots with you today......

Her esthetic is quite eclectic with a vintage modern vibe and like her mama (oh, that would be me) she does love to collect. A mix put together of mid century modern, bohemian and French...and everything was bought on a dime or found in some cases in my own collections, or a few things by the roadside......

Shots are perhaps not the best...my camera does not have a built in flash and I didn't have time for a proper shoot...but I do hope that you enjoy this post...
If you enjoy the style that I love....there is still time to enter the GIVEAWAY for the book VINTAGE BY NINA on the previous post (not this one).....

Autumn Whites And Neutrals In The Dining Room....And An Interview With ME

I promised you some photos of the dining room set up for Fall/Autumn and here they are. Nothing Halloween oriented or orange or pink...just good old neutrals and whites, which I love.....

I put a vintage French runner down the center of the dining table and set up a vignette with a simple large silver tray and a large French enamelware pitcher from my brocante trip a few months back...filled with wheat. Just a few small white pumpkins and some scattered wheat with a couple of old tole candleholders complete the vignette. Nothing too fancy, but I think elegant....
On the buffet....some dried roses in old English ironstone
Simple wreath that I put together....
Kitchen vignette...
A favorite old chippy wicker chair and a coal bucket filled with pumpkins and pinecones....
A wheat mini postcard that I made for your personal use.....

And finally....this isn't the home shoot that I mentioned in my previous post, but I am thrilled to be a contributor to this wonderful magazine (Creating Vintage Charm) along with some other inspiring ladies. I hope that you consider purchasing it...well worth the price for a good read...click HERE
