How To Decorate For Fall With Mixed Metals
I love to mix silver and gold in my decor and vignettes and in planning for Thanksgiving that comes later this month we have the perfect set of family heirloom dishes to accomplish that with on the table.
Passed down from my husband’s family, a large set of Royal Copenhagen porcelain that was used on the table at holiday time when he was growing up in Switzerland.
A complete and gorgeous set with sepia roses and gold gilt trim that I’ve learned to adapt to mix my romantic style in with, in setting the table with for Thanksgiving. Work with what you have and what you’ve been given decorating.
Mixing in my own flea market collection of vintage silver and silver plate that I have filled with pink roses and other florals…
It all seems to work and flow on the rustic dining table that we built ourselves and you can find on a DIY previous post from a couple of years ago HERE…
More coming later this week, a bit about the sideboard that you see behind, set up with a side of pink.
Love it all! Photos are especially beautiful and your taste in decor is fabulous!:-)
A truly gorgeous set indeed. What a wonderful set to use at Thanksgiving time. I love that they come to you with such tradition behind them.
Beautiful! I think that a little touch of pink goes so nicely everywhere! Hugs, Leena
