Published Shoot Out Takes…February Romantic Homes Magazine

Today I’m sharing a few out take images from a recent shoot that I did…and you can read more about in the current February issue of Romantic Homes magazine.

It’s always interesting and fun to go into other’s homes for a shoot and spend time with the talented homeowners. I find it sort of like being a fly on the wall that gets to poke around in cabinets pulling out things to arrange for the camera’s eye:-)

Doreen Rinaldi~Lane has been collecting pretty vintage pieces and painting roses for a number of years, and lives in a serene open plan light filled home without a lot of clutter…so it was truly a pleasure to work in.

A few more shots…all of her furniture is vintage and she painted it white after moving from New York to Florida…
She is a talented seamstress as well, and has made her home comfy with slipcovers and pillows crafted out of vintage linens that she has acquired in her scouring of antique shops and flea markets. It’s all white, and it’s all washable.

I love this one that reflects her Italian heritage!

Just about every home that I’ve photographed (including my own) has an antique mannequin. What it is about these that we all seem to adore? This girl wears a large pair of angel wings and some vintage millinery.
Pretty details, rich textures.
