A New Vintage Cabinet In Pink, Silk Florals and Cavalier Spaniels

It seems as if I'm on an endless quest to organize and de-clutter this home that we've lived in for almost 24 years now. Although I truly love our house, there are a few things that I would change...
if I could without spending a fortune. One of those things is the fact that we have very little closet space. I'm talking VERY little! We have four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths and only ONE linen closet. Just not enough for a shabby chic girl like me who collects linens and pillows...
So when a dear friend asked me if I wanted this vintage wood cabinet I obviously couldn't turn her down and cleared out a spot in our master bedroom for it. The pink paint is all original and chippy in the perfect places...that only time will do to a piece of furniture...
She was using it to hang linens in the shop and it needs shelves so I'll be adding those and painting the inside as well. I'm thinking maybe French blue...
I really am gravitating to more blue in our home and have de-pinked some of my collections:-)...
But I still am girly and do love accents of pink here and there...especially when they can be easily moved. This French pillow is a favorite vintage piece and a comfy smushy down filled accent for my chair or bed...
The pink bench may make it's way back into our master bedroom again some day, and it's another piece that I got from that same friend years ago...
These pink blossoms are faux and found for $5 at a yard sale this weekend. They look truly real, even in person and I am not a flower snob if I find some great silks at a fabulous price. For now I've moved them back into the bedroom...
And who else loves the bedroom and will pick any soft spot to hang out that they can get away with...our Bartley and Darby (Cavalier King Charles Spaniels) at now 14 months old. Recent adoptee Toby the Maltese is missing from the picture, but I'll share a shot of him soon...

Have a great week ahead!
xoxo,
