Easy Indoor Smores

With my usual Saturday morning routine of out for a quick bite to eat at our neighborhood spot and grocery run before the crowds, I found that the Easter candy was all deeply discounted on sale. In need of some yummy treats to have on hand for tomorrow...
I discovered some Peeps at half off and although I'm sure that I'm not the first to do this, gathered up the rest of what I'd need to make some s'mores...indoors! Easy and so pretty in pastels...and here is the how-to recipe...

1. Split graham cracker into two pieces...
2. Place a Peep on top of each half that you'll be making a sandwich of...

3. Heat under broiler for a couple of minutes. In my case I used the toaster oven broiler for a small quantity...
4. Remove and place one square of chocolate on top of each Peep. The heat from the marshmallow Peep will melt the chocolate sufficiently...

5. Top each with the other half of graham cracker and press lightly to flatten...
6. Wrap with plastic wrap or foil to save until ready to devour...
