French Country Style In Texas...Published Photo Shoot

A little bit of French country in Texas...
I have been working internationally for awhile now as a photographer and stylist and was thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot this gorgeous home for the French magazine...
Vie À La Campagne that is not available stateside, so I'm sharing a few shots from this 27 page spread with you here on the blog today...
A droolworthy kitchen is the heart of this open plan home, where Swiss natives Brigitte Chavaillez and her husband love to cook and entertain...
The talented homeowners have designed, remodeled and built (or had built) many of the pieces in the home and have made it unique with homage paid to their Swiss French heritage...
Beauty in nature just outside the kitchen that reflects the garden themed interior...
Years of collecting were edited down when the homeowner closed her Florida shop for a move to this home in Austin...
Neutral tones, slipcovered furniture and lots of floral arrangements that bring warmth and character...
A study in the front of the home showcasing some of the homeowner's fabulous antique furniture and architectural elements...
Upstairs spaces that house the bedrooms and Brigitte's studio, where she creates her exquisite mixed media and paper art pieces...
You can find out more about Brigitte's artwork and her musings over on her blog at Papier-Velours
Photos by me, Janet Coon, styling by the homeowner Brigitte Chavaillez...

If you have a home that you know of that might be magazine-worthy, feel free to contact me with your information for a possible shoot!...
