Peace...Joy...Petals

I hope that you have had a peaceful week my friends!

It's been everything but that around here, just lots of craziness called life and it's kept me from visiting your blogs but I hope to get to that soon...
I seriously DO have a fetish for fresh flowers every week and since Trader Joe's opened some months back they have become affordable. Last week I purchased some pretty pink stock and they have gotten the dreaded droop now...
I cut the petals off the stem with my floral shears, and display in bowls around the home...sometimes mixing with rose petals for a heavenly scent...
When the roses start to bend I cut those off to dry and display for yet another week, as they still maintain their color for awhile if cut off in a timely fashion...
When the petals are completely dry I often create a floral wreath. You can read my DIY on a past blog post HERE
Or in Sonia's Creating Vintage Charm magazine as well...
Wishing you peace and joy...and if you have some time to play with petals all the better!
xoxo,
