Summer Bedroom Tour At Home Inspired By Free Flowers

I really do love having furniture pieces in my home that are interchangeable, as it allows me to change the look economically at a whim. My old benches with the chippy paint are...
perfect for restyling and have been used in every room from bedrooms to living room, front foyer to back patio! Time for change up again, so these aqua benches are back outside...
A restyle idea went off in my head recently when walking the dogs on a different route past an abandoned home, overgrown with bougainvillea in varied shades of pink...
I knew that no one would be trimming these and I'd have an unlimited free source for the next couple of months and in fact am doing a service to the neighbors by trimming the property...
Most bougainvillea are in a deep wine tone, and the hybrids in pale pinks are scarce. A perfect shade to display in our master bedroom for that pop of pink without being too girly...
That long pink bench has temporarily replaced the aqua pair of benches, perhaps just there for summer...
Benches like this one are useful in the bedroom to hold those extra pillows and throws, as well as a floral display or a pile of books...
Yes I do have a husband (in case you are wondering:-) and when you look at the room it's mostly white and serene. Blankets and pillows come off at night and a pop or two of pink are just fine on his relax radar for a good night's sleep!
Just wanted to share one of the Mason jar chandeliers that we recently shipped out and are available in the SHOP We are getting set to raise the price a bit, so if you have been on the fence about ordering one...now would be the time to save and you can find them HERE...

Love your touches of pink that you added, I recently added the pink petticoat to my bedroom but balanced out with some masculine touches and my hubby has not said a word, love your fresh "public service" FLOWERS....LOL and of course the way you photograph that jack is amazing!! Have a wonderful day I wish I could find more shabby chippy pink pieces like what you have it really does look much better with the authentic patina's that you find/use.!!
