Early Fall Vignettes In The Dining Room At Shabbyfufu…Styling Tips

My dining room needed some fall touches, so I added some DIY fall vignettes to bring the autumn indoors.

Fall is definitely my favorite time of the year and has been for as long as I can remember. As a young child living up north I recall skipping to school through the crisp leaves on the ground and all of the delicious scents and colors. I have lived in Florida most of my life since then and we just don’t have that here. Alas…I create an Autumn atmosphere in our home and will be sharing a few of my…
…early Autumn vignettes that I set up this weekend in the dining room…

My seasonal dining room decorated with fall vignettes made to bring the crisp call colors indoors.

I started by clearing out everything that was displayed on the buffet (aka repurposed $25 vintage dresser:-) and putting it all in the cabinets in the laundry room. I’ve been organizing around the house and feeling pretty good about all that I’ve donated and sold.

Styling tips for a fresh look:

First…clear it all out down to the furniture. Yep…just as if you are moving!
Then move furniture as necessary and add in design elements as you like.
Be sure to step back to take a good look at the scene!

These hydrangeas are perfect for any fall vignettes - they're fresh with soft pink and green colors to even out the crisp fall tones of brown, gold, and orange.
My first inspiration for this vignette was inspired by the hydrangeas that I picked up at the market. They speak early Fall in their soft tones of antique pink and green. Add some vintage candle holders and fresh flower displays to bring some life into your fall vignettes in your home.
