Timeless...Ralph Lauren Country Style Chair Covers

When you go for timeless pieces they never seem to go out of style. Some years back I designed...

these Ralph Lauren~esque chair covers that find their way out of the linen closet every Autumn and add a great pop of color to build my faded Fall palette around.

The printed floral fabric is on the top front, with blue denim on the back and faded green ticking on the bottom and the piping.

Those yummy pale pumpkins are out in the markets here, and I've combined just a couple of pale blue~grey ones with velvet pumpkins from HomeGoods as well as some baby cream ones.

Favorite French antique dishes from French Larkspur's shop and some antique cranberry stemware found at an estate sale years ago.

As long as the palette is faded, I find that colors in the deeper tones call to me at this time of year.

Silver and copper can definitely be combined and spaced apart visually so as not to compete for that glitz factor needed.

I'm a bit of all over the place with my collecting and styling and ironstone is mixed in the melange.

Happy Fall ya'll and enjoy your week ahead!

This is a great look, I love the mix of transfer ware, ironstone, copper, and silver. I collect in a similar way. The deeper colors are great too. It is great that you have found a timeless look that you can bring out every year.
