I placed a grainsack runner on the table which I made by simply cutting the two sides of the old European grain sack and running a line of FrayCheck down each side. The napkins are an antique set from my collection and are tied with some twine that I found in the kitchen drawer and added a sprig of greenery. Necessity is definitely the mother of invention in last minute, out of town styling!…

Do you see the glittered acorns? I brought a bag full of them home the last time that I was in Texas (a few weeks ago) and knew that they would look great with some silver German glass glitter. One of the guests was pretty wowed by them and that was cool, since they were free. They are HUGE Burr acorns, seen in my daughter’s hand below for size…
