Coastal Christmas Bedroom Decorating – Aqua and Blue
A quiet spot to sit and wrap presents and no peeking allowed in the master bedroom, which has a separate wing in our ranch style home. I just may have changed things up for the third time this morning:~) and as always it was easy, fast and inexpensive to do.
I had the white tree in place, as well as the white garland and you can read more about that HERE.
I’ve had the white garland and wreaths for about 10 years now and found them at Marshalls. The lights no longer work and they turned yellow with age, so I’ve spray painted them with white enamel paint and the garland has been wrapped with new lights to glow in the evening.
I have a large collection of vintage Christmas balls, but this year purchased a big set of blues at Target to use outdoors…since they are plastic and will do better in our extreme climate. The set was large enough to save some to play with inside and I added just a handful today to the wreath and the white tree.
I love the pop of color against all of this white!
Other than the bulbs and a living room live tree, I’ve purchased nothing else this year for my holiday decorating.
It’s time to turn down the a/c and put on the Christmas music and get back to the gift wrapping task at hand. Happy weekend everyone!
Beautiful pop of blue! Merry Christmas.
hugs,
Jann
