Five Minute Spring Mantel Change Up

a few new things that will be listed in the shop on~line. I used the living room mantle for the photos, and moved the chandelier in front of the mantel…

Bare and plain and in need of dressing….
The chandelier used to live more in the corner of the room. The reflection of the mirror unfortunately often picked up the necessary evil of living in Florida…the ceiling fan! Not the prettiest thing to reflect, but it’s useful…and now it’s camouflaged:~))
Being a huge fan of 5 minute decor changes, I set up the mantel literally in five. It took a lot longer to take photos and get a blog post up then to style the mantel!
One of my favorite things to collect are vintage birdcages. There are at least a half dozen in various places around our home at any given time. On my mantel now sits a green birdcage at one end, with some oversized paper flowers in aqua, a handful of vintage bottles with ranunculus and a couple of antique French books…
Spring has sprung in the living room!

    So very pretty and sprig-i-fied.I will always love those colors. I'm currently moving away from them though. But then I see them used in a new way and I just sigh…. If only I had three homes…. or 10. hee, hee. Don't we all wish for more space to decorate in all the styles we love?
