Working and Playing By The Pool

I've been trying to get outdoors as often as possible lately since our days are numbered here in the south in terms of the rainy season starting soon with lots of humidity and mosquitos. As I sit here now on the patio it's still Spring...
and I'm able to work... just as long as it's in the shade...

I've set up a little area for myself, my plants and flowers and the wifi is thankfully very good out on the patio...

We have a covered gazebo and it's the perfect place to be when hanging out by the pool in the Spring. Not sure what this plant is but it's flowering and the bees and butterflies love the little pink flowers...

While the pool looks enticing the water is still too cold for a swim and won't warm up enough until the daily baking of the water by the sun comes with summer...

We have a running fountain in the pool and just sitting out here in the Spring with the sound of the rushing water and the birds is soothing and helps me focus on my work...

Coffee is involved today in a pretty vintage pink vintage lustreware cup...

My vintage benches are some of the favorite "always to keep" treasures that I own, and they get moved around when an extra table is needed. A sofa plumped with pillows is a great spot for an afternoon nap, and since the cushions are now tattered I've thrown a couple of crisp white vintage tablecloths over them that can be tossed into the wash...

It's pretty quiet here in the suburbs of Miami and the weather in the Spring is just perfect...

Happy Spring week ahead to you...and if you'd like a pretty Free download of a Spring graphic that I designed, please visit THIS post to find it...
