French Brocante From My Trip...In The Shop

Mondays are always busy here and today was no exception! I managed to get a lot done...packed a chandelier, a mannequin and some throws for shipping. Answered emails, worked on social media and this afternoon did a little bit of a product shoot for the shop. I love what I do and it's so satisfying most of the time...but still, today I'm pretty wiped out!
On to some shop news, I'm going to try and put one of each of our various colors of our Ruffled Throws on a Flash Sale each week over the summer...

This week it's the Beach Glass and next week it will be another, perhaps our French grey throw pictured above...

FINALLY I'm going to start listing some of the French brocante that I brought back from my trip to France last month. A few things were posted today, like this French enamelware tray that I found and it happens to be in a pattern that I collect, so it's difficult to part with. I have a love of French enamelware...and you can learn a bit more about it HERE. I may actually post some of those pieces in the shop soon too:~)

An old wooden box that had been hand painted by an artist with a pastoral scene complete with a sheep. It's old and signed on the bottom...found in France.

I have some great hidden places to shop in France and found this trio of antique leather books dated 1808, now in the shop...

An old wood and metal crucifix with holy water font...lots of patina that I love!

I bought the beach glass throw from you a while ago and I love it! right now it is on a chair in the kitchen but I can put it anywhere and it would make the space even prettier. Just love it!
