Wrapping Up July...In Blue

Where has July gone? As I sit here and write this at our beach home on a rainy Sunday evening I'm thinking that the summer is slipping away and yet I am totally looking forward to some exciting projects
that I'm going to be involved in for the Fall and Holiday season! But for now I'm wrapping up summer in aqua~blue, which if you've been here before you know that I love...

Turquoise, robin's egg blue, seafoam...just these touches here and there and as always swapped out and stored so as not to be too much at once...

I love this old cupboard that is sitting on the floor in the dining area for now. I could have asked hubby to hang it, but I would surely be asking him to take it down too many times...so it sits. Maybe I'll part with it some day or maybe not. Things are stored inside...bowls, plates and cups...

You've seen this here before and from where I currently sit at the beach I'm looking at it and counting on it for some light as it's storming outside...

My buffet gets a lot of use and it's one of the things that I change out most frequently on the top surface for styling. Sometimes once a week:~)

Blush peachy pink roses in a Victorian aqua~ish blue glass pitcher. The peach is perfect against that pretty shade of blue...

Blue tones just all seem to mix and meld together so nicely. Some of these pieces are old and some are new, but the color is what coordinates...

Yes, this chandelier still hangs in my kitchen after designing it over 4 years ago. I still sell them and they are all one of a kind, and if you want to read the ORIGINAL post, you can find that HERE
I'm currently working on one in fact for a client and it's a bit different so I'll share it when finished soon...

If you love aqua~ish tones it's so easy to incorporate a touch. Just go out and get yourself a couple of Mason jars and fill with flowers...

Speaking of flowers, now would be the perfect time to save those summer flowers for a Fall project. Don't toss them! I've got a step by step *DIY* for you over on eBay that will inspire you to create. Find that HERE

I've been getting more and more into aqua this year, I love it! That little cabinet is gorgeous!!! And those little aqua cups sitting next to the bowls are too cute! Always a treat seeing your beautiful home Janet:)

We had rain all day Sunday and most of the day yesterday but it seems to be easing off now. Coming from So Cal, I never get tired of the rain:)

I love your home! The pale aqua, pinks and blues really stand out against the white. Your home is soft, gorgeous and peaceful looking. Your photography captures all the beauty!
