Lots of Studio Time And Around The House

It’s been a busy week here and I thought I’d share some of what’s been happening at home and in my studio. Lots of orders for various things have kept me busy enough to hire my daughter to help me out, and although she already has a full time job in town she’s always looking for extra cash:~). She’s my official…
mannequin hand finishing assistant and I’m so grateful for any help that I can get when I am busy. This mannequin order is going to be shipped out to a store in New York this week…and it’s not even all of them! I love to photograph things in multiples and can envision these all in tutus if I had the time to do that…
I have been doing more brand collaboration and was contacted by a fabulous dress company through my Shabbyfufu Instagram page, and if you are on Instagram come over and check out the gift card giveaway that we have for you there. Props to my husband for being the photographer on this photo of me, and putting up with my awkwardness in front of the camera. I MUCH prefer being behind the camera, that is for sure!
Over on eBay this week I talked about creating a guest room where no room existed before! This has come in handy in our home several times and I have some great tips in my article over there…so come take a peek under ShabbyfufuStyle
There has been a weekend sale over on the website on our popular Ruffled Throws at 20% Off, and since I hadn’t had a chance to post this on the blog or our Newsletter until now I’m going to extend the sale for a couple more days. Now is your chance, as we probably won’t offer this discounted price again until the Holiday season!! You can find the throws….HERE.
Speaking of the SHOP, I’m hoping to get some vintage goods photographed to offer soon…including some great French enamelware pieces that I talked about HERE, so watch for that!
We have had a couple of family birthday celebrations this weekend and have really enjoyed them with flowers in the house and not much time to photograph, but I hope to get that started soon with some exciting projects to work on this week!
