Trying To Do It All and The Shop

I've been so busy that lately I've been feeling like a hamster on one of those spinning wheels. Do you know what I mean? A bit of burnout perhaps?

Over the weekend I packed up a whole bunch of orders. Something like 80 packages left here and although I do have some help it gets pretty crazy and it seems like I'm always playing catch~up. It's a great thing and I L.O.V.E. to be busy...but aye! So I put out a call over...
on good ol' social media this weekend for some virtual assistance and I'm truly overwhelmed at the great response that I've received. Shabbyfufu is hiring! Will see how it goes and start out small...

Hopefully I'll be able to find the right fit to help grow my business and take some of the pressure off and give someone a bit of work at the same time. That's my alternate email by the way so you can always reach me there..

I'm just being honest here. It's hard to do it all and to those that do I admire you greatly! Maybe it's just that I'm busy but maybe too that I'm getting older and see that life goes by in a blink and I want more creative and family time then I've been getting...

Some photo shoots for Fall have been happening, but without giving too much away they will involve metallics....

Like copper, which I've been cleaning...

And mercury glass...which is always a favorite and I usually carry some of it on the website. This cake pedestal can be found there and is NOT just for cake...

And of course if you know me...it will include a lot of flowers and a little bit of rustic...

I added some new (vintage) pieces to the SHOP, so pop over to take a look when you can.

A few new one of a kind studio pieces have arrived to the linen boutique...

I look forward to each day as a chance to do something creative!

You have some great pieces there. I love the three little flower pots. Are those cast iron?

On the flip side of having so much to do - it means (to me) that your shop is busy and bountiful. Having help isn't caving in, it's just the right move for you now as you continue to grow. Providing a job for another is giving a blessed gift to that person. Your items are lovely and so is this site.
Thank you for all you do.

Glad your shop is doing so well-bummer you are getting burnt out!

I think it's wise of you to reach out for help rather than run yourself into the ground! There's only so much one person can do and you do everything beautifully:) Love those floral metal doorstops...at least I'm thinking they're doorstops but would work wonderfully just for decoration:)

They are cast iron door stops from the 1920's with a flower basket design!
