Published Photo Shoots and Romantic Christmas Decorating Looks

In the real world it's still October, but in the blog and also the shooting for print world we work ahead to give our readers inspiration and generate a certain amount of excitement and buzz. Timing is definitely...

...everything, and this time of the year goes by in seemingly a blink! I'm sharing a few looks today from Christmas past, and thinking about changing it up again this year with excitement!
Once again our living room will have a live cut tree and I love it with just the twinkle lights and void of ornaments as above. You can see more of that look from 2013 in THIS well loved post...
Pink? Not sure of that this year, although I do love pink accents I've been doing some serious paring down in my home and am loving a cleaner less cluttered feeling...
I'm thinking along the lines of a natural rustic mantel again and maybe just a touch of pink, like in THIS post...
I was contracted to do a photo shoot at the home of Drena Bathemess for the December (current) issue of Romantic Homes magazine and that girl sure knows how to do the holidays in shabby chic style! If you'd like to see more, the issue is out on the newstands for just a short time, so I hope that you pick up a copy...
And another Romantic Homes magazine shoot that I shot for the November 2015 issue, so you may still be able to find that around now...

Are you holiday dreaming yet?

Janet,
Everything is beautiful as always. Swooning over all your pictures. I am getting excited to start to decorate for the holidays too. Already running vignettes through my mind and a theme. I am scaling way back too. Less is more as they say!
