Christmas at night certainly offers a different perspective with the lights coming mostly from the sparkling lights on the trees and candles lit for glow. Today I'm joining in with several blogging friends for the Christmas Nights tour and while I won't be posting much this week, you can visit their blogs listed below for nightly inspiration.
Our tour is hosted by Rachel of Maison de Pax and if you are coming over from Cherished Bliss - welcome in!
The Beautiful Magic of Christmas At Night
A winter wonderland that is lit only by twinkle lights on the tree and mantel and the glowing candles for warmth. It's been my favorite place to sit this holiday season with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. A quiet spot to sit and reflect and count my blessings and dream about what is in store as we head on into the year ahead.
A room that is Merry and Bright during the day with the sunlight pouring in and at night is generally quite dark. The glittery flocked tree takes care of that and although I'm not an experienced night photographer by any stretch it makes for a pretty palette of play.
I enjoyed refreshing the mantel several weeks back by adding in some touches of blush pink and extra glitter on the pinecones. Keeping things rather simple in design will allow me to restyle and refresh for a NOT SO CHRISTMAS winter look on the way soon.
As a mom of young adults, it truly is the happiest time of all, since we will all be together for the holidays very soon. That is my greatest gift and the gift of time is in my stocking I'm told.
Texture and warmth with glittery sparkle from old beaded light domes as display and gold glittered candles on a butler's tray.
In the dining room the table has been set several times this season and the warm glow of the Christmas tree has been ever present. Yes, I've accented with more pink this year than in recent years but the touches are soft and not over done.
My husband walks through the house every morning and turns on all of the Christmas tree lights. This year we have four trees throughout the house and each has their own touch.
Something simple with seeded eucalyptus and juniper berries forming a table garland, along with blush pink votives and my signature painted pink pinecones.
Frosted ornaments that are new have been scattered with vintage Shiny Brites, pink silk poinsettias and more.
Thank you for virtually visiting my night tour today and you can continue by heading over to Shades Of Blue Interiors next and the rest of the tour linked below.
