Best Ever Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies
Best ever vegan chocolate chip cookies that are full of flavor and made with simple ingredients. Try this one if you are gluten and dairy free!
Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies - Gluten And Dairy Free
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 2 tbsp arrowroot starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2/3 cup coconut oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips
Instructions
- Sift almond flour into a medium bowl and stir in arrowroot starch, baking soda and salt.In a small bowl mix together the melted coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla.Add the syrupy liquid slowly to the flour mixture and stir just enough to thoroughly combine. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.Place by the tablespoon full on a greased cookie sheet or parchment paper lined sheet and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes until lightly golden brown.Allow to cool slightly and transfer to a wire cooling rack then serve.

This recipe uses almond flour. I’ve tried other flours but prefer the taste of almond.
Mixed together the melted coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla have an interesting flavor.
The recipe does not list amount of coconut oil. Would love to try these!

What non-dairy ingredient could be used in place of coconut oil? Thank you
I’m not sure Wendy…since this is the “shortening”. Perhaps try ghee, which I use as butter.
