Styling A Romantic And Elegant Thanksgiving Table
Styling A Romantic And Elegant Thanksgiving Table
I’ll be keeping up for a few days throughout the weekend, simply to enjoy.
I cleared off the sideboard buffet, that really is a vintage dresser from a friend:~). Knowing that I wanted to go with the roses, I decided to do a pink and blue theme…color comes first to me in styling a table.
These vintage planters don’t hold water, so I used a Mason jar in each and filled out the bouquets with last week’s stock and greenery cut from my garden.
Next step was a centerpiece and I plopped this pale blue cinderella pumpkin onto a cake plate. It’s low enough to see over the center of the table and I filled it in with some pinecones and acorns.
I covered the rustic table for this setting with a vintage French lace tablecloth for the pale look that I had in mind. The underplates are my every day white plates from Pottery Barn and the blue and white plates are French antique ironstone that I love and use as often as possible.
The white baby boos are plastic and I painted them with chalk style paint. You can see more about that HERE if you’d like more fall inspiration.
Tip: I used some paper shredding from packing material on the top of the faux stem for texture.
I may have a slight obsession with monogrammed linens that is close to hoarding, even if they don’t match up with my initials.
Beautiful table setting! So romantic and elegant, but simple!! Amazing job!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Absolutely gorgeous. I am such fan of blue and white. The pink makes it look spectacular. Wherever did you find a blue pumpkin and the little white painted ones?
I’m new to your blog and I know this is an older post, but do you remember where you got the acorns in this table setting from?
Hello Audra…welcome in! Unfortunately I don’t recall, but maybe a craft store?
